Decided to see this show, because it is a spin-off series “The Vampire Diaries”, which I love very much.
The plot of the series revolves around a hybrid Klaus Michaelson (Joseph Morgan), who returns to the “seething cauldron of the supernatural,” that is in the French Quarter of New Orleans, a city that he and his family helped build several centuries ago. There he is reunited with his former prot?g? Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), a cruel and charismatic vampire completely subordinate to the will of all the people and supernatural residents of New Orleans.
Cherishing the hope to help his brother find redemption, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) comes on the heels of Klaus in his hometown – New Orleans. Collecting information about his family in the French Quarter, he learns that the werewolf Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is taken captive, a powerful witch over Sophie (Daniella Pineda). Marseille examines the information, gives orders to his subjects, basking in the glory, the voltage approaches the boiling point, between the supernatural factions. Klaus pride does not allow him to submit his former ward. He swears: back what belonged to him before; city, family power. Decision-making is Rebecca (Claire Holt), or not to leave Mystic Falls for brothers and New Orleans. As a result, Klaus and Elijah conclude shaky alliance with witches, t. E. Claus has to “wriggle” in trust to Marseilles, and force him to get out of New Orleans, and in return the witch will not harm a pregnant Haley.
