She was born July 26, 1968 in London, in a family of lawyers. After high school, Olivia began to study English literature at Cambridge College Newnham, after which she began to master the art of drama in theatre school in Bristol. The next few years she spent at the theatre Royal Shakespeare company in London and in 1995, the year within four months toured the U.S. together with the company.
During this tour it and noticed Kevin Costner and invited to star in the film “the Postman”. But even before we started shooting Williams had its debut on the screen in the TV movie “Emma,” based on the novel by Jane Austen. And in 1997, the year on the big screens out a fantastic romance “the Postman”, with which to see Olivia first came fame. In the same year she played in the military drama “the War of Gaston” and the next year she starred in the Comedy drama “Rushmore”.
