Elle Macpherson, at birth – Eleanor Nancy Gow, was born March 29, 1964 in the small town of Cronulla in Australia. Surname “McPherson” El took from his stepfather. She grew up in a respectable Australian family, worked in a pharmacy and graduated from high school among the best students. El dreamed of becoming a lawyer and planned to enroll in the University of Sydney, her modeling career was not interested.
